No. People who passed their test after 1/1/97 are restricted to towing a vehicle up to 3,500 Kgs with a trailer no more than 750 Kgs, or a combination which does not exceed 3,500 Kgs gross. This is a very heavy tent on a twin axle trailer so when hitched to a suitable towcar the combined gross weights would almost certainly exceed this figure.
They could just go and take a category B + E driving test, then they could tow it instead of selling it.
It's a heck of a tent though.
