We bought our Indiana 8 last year and the side canopy a few weeks ago. Both times they price matched and "Ryan" the tent man was very helpful in making our tent selection.
Credit where credit's due - Well done Norwich Camping and Leisure. Super efficient service (Delivered Tent in under 24 hours). Would certainly recommend them. From reading the other reviews I think they are certainly one of the more respectable companies to deal with :)
We use Norwich Campling and Leisure (both shops - Blofield and Thorpe St Andrew) regularly and have always had great service. Ryan "the tent man" cannot be more knowledgable and helpful (and always very patient - he needs to be when dealing with us!!!!) We've always found them to price match when requested and would highly recommend a visit to either shop if in the area.
Some folks might be lucky with Norwich Camping, I was most certainly not.
Saw a shirt I liked on their website, at a good price. Ordered it first thing on Friday morning. At the foot of the auto-reply for my order it said ‘We will send you another email when your item is shipped’.
Friday passed, Saturday came and went, no email, so I phoned them at midday on Monday for confirmation, when a bright and breezy woman told me they didn’t have my size in the colour I wanted, and I was next on the list to be phoned.
To say I was disappointed to find this out after all that time is an understatement, and I cancelled my order there and then.
Their website still said, ‘Availability; in stock.’ For online retailing they really need to get their act together.
Another thumbs up from us for Norwich Camping. Ordered a Royal Pescara from them earlier this year, and received it in good time. I wouldn't expect any retailer to have customer services available 24/7 either, whether on-line or in shops.
We have always had excellent service from Norwich Camping - we live about 30 minutes away so do most of our camping shopping there - on the odd occasion we have got home and found an item was cheaper elsewhere on the net I have phoned them and told them and they have refunded the difference straight away. I love going there shopping, I dont think my credit card does though!
Good to hear about NC&L we are going to be in their neck of the woods in July and intend to pay them a visit (I'm sure we can think of something else we need!). I think that, on the whole, we are very lucky to have a leisure activity that has spawned many excellent outlets. One of my favourite pastimes, apart from camping itself, is actually visiting my local camp shop in Melbourn and chatting to the friendly, knowledgable staff. Big up to all the independents

Fernman,
You do realise that Saturday is the weekend right? They most likely didn't have the majority of their staff in.
The fact that they were rectifying the problem, the next working day, is effectively a sign of good customer service.
I'm sorry but I think your taking this a little too personally.
Totally agree
If you are unfortunate enough to have to go at the weekend, it's all hands to the pumps - the place is packed. There is certainly no time for office work, so Monday mornings must be a catch-up time for the office staff.
I've always had excellent service from them
Another vote for Norwich Camping here, the amount of stock they hold is fantastic, they seem to have just about every thing you need! Very hard to come away from there empty handed
We live not far from them at norwich camping and leisure, and often pop in for a look around their tent displays etc. We got our monty delivered by them, and we always have great service! As you say we sometimes forget about the good service we get :)
Bought a Glendale 5 and footprint from them earlier this year, which they price matched to the Boat & Caravan Show deal we'd seen a month earlier (including a free footprint!)
Sadly the tent actually had a couple of holes in it when we put it up at Easter. All it took was a quick phone call and a run up to Norwich and they replaced the whole tent with no quibbles at all.
