We are going to stay at Newperran holiday park in newquay next month for a whole 2 weeks - we are very excited,i believe it's a lovely site! in the brochure it says we need a electric hook up of 25m min. This might be a stupid question but will 20m be enough do you think? We have just brought a 20m one because we couldn't find a longer one, we are staying in Kea field.

Have any of you been? If we DO need a 25m one, where can we get one from?

best to check with site. Given them a call it will put your mind at rest. Have a good holiday. Hope the sun shines.

We were there last year.  The four families that were plugged into the same post as ours all had 20m leads, which appeared to be more than long enough.

A nice campsite.  Numberplate recognition on the gate.  Noise levels are policed, especially after 11pm.  The swimming pool was cold and a pint in the clubhouse was pricey.  Shower/toilet blocks were clean.

We'd go again.

Just be careful of the riptides/currents at Perranporth beach - I couldn't believe how strong they were.  It's very, very easy to get swept away/under by them. The lifeguards(guys and gals) do a brilliant job.

Cheers

Hi CJ.
Now is your opportunity to purchase an electric hook up cable that caravans use, this will connect to your RCD cable and give you plenty of length cost around £20. for some site it will come in handy to give you more space and even to camp in another field and put you lead through an edge. If they say 25m min they will have pitches were you require 25m.
Best to be on the safe side.
Regards
Rex.
PS World of camping do them for £20
