We are taking another family for their first camping trip! Been planning it for weeks. Staying at Wickstead Park near Northampton (cause its quite close to home).

Was planning to try the Ligen 8 for the first time.... not so sure now that the forecast is wet! May well take the Grange instead... At least we know that it stays dry

Hi all we are of to drayton manor park for the weekend with the kids sun or rain we will have fun, why worry it will not change the weather ,it's the second trip in the tt so roll on friday lunch time and lets get camping

Do you have to go this weekend,can you not put it off,
The way the Met office are talking, it is definitely going to be wet Sunday and Monday. If you are happy to pack away wet and go through the drying procedure when you get home, then go and have a good time the sites are usually quieter when rain is forecast.

The wether forecast has altered again (slight improvement) - no point taking any notice of them really until about 12 hours before you go.

We're going to Beaver camp - last year it was gloriously sunny and the kids still got muddy as anything, wonder how much worse it can get.

Looks like we might have to pack what we normally take in a Mondeo with a roofbox into a Corsa without a roofbox - guess we'll be cutting down then???
