off next Friday until Tue's, and booked a Cheap stay £3 for 3 days Haven Tenby.
to be honest not my scene! but for that price and the location thought give it ago.
but the drive down is a long 5hrs, and not being able to get away until Fri afternoon I looked at sites that took off a good chunk of that drive but still leaving some time to enjoy the day.
and after this weeks extended discussion on CCS sites, a less rigid site was my critique.
This site really took my fancy.

Heaven on earth - this is a campsite with SOUL! We pitched in the woods, lit a (responsible) campfire and lay back, looking up at the towering pine trees surrounding the tents. At 1am a young fox came right up to us to see what grub was on offer. You can hire a canadian canoe from The Hollybush, paddle leisurely down the River Wye, then ring them for a pick-up. Lovely laid-back folk and superb vibes in the pub itself. You feel WELCOME here - it's the complete antidote to those sites where you get stiff-necked JobCentre-styled proprietors. Sublime! Just go for it! And you'll love!

well thats our 1st stop intention! and if as it sounds! then I think the £3 site will not be missed.
