Vis a vis tents were invented to enable nookie. Tunnel tents were invented as a contraceptive. Fact.

No kids (anymore) but possibly the MOST un-romantic/uncomfortable/least-sexy (insert any other adjectives you want) thing possible tried on an airbed..... ;( ;)

we stayed at Whitehills near Paignton last year and a couple had a proper late night row in the kids play area after leaving the clubhouse and we and others could clearly hear her listing all his faults and inadequacies as he bawled his eyes out. It made for a very uncomfortable hour. Fortunately for him, they then returned to their tent,2 pitches from us, and er, made up, again very loudly, for another hour, completing at just after 3am. In the morning, A sweet, lovely older couple in between told us they'd also been kept awake by the noise and thought it was hilarious and later informed us that when they'd gone to the site shop for some provisions, one of the staff had already had a word with Romeo & Juliet after numerous complaints and they had decided to leave early. Never ceases to amaze me how much noise travels at night.
"Babe, babe,I loves ya,I loves ya,I loves ya!". And that was when he was getting a shoeing so you can imagine the volume and phrases when he was being treated better.

We camped at a site on the Isle of Wight for 2 weeks last year (2020), been at the same sight for so long we had a number of tents come and go, one couple set up next to us for 4 nights and every night there was some action, groans and moans, the squeaking of the air bed, it made for a vey entertaining time, the wife was less impressed, tents are a passion killer for her.
