We have just been away in our Gelert tent and it has started leaking on the seams, badly, you can see the tape on the seams has come away from the tent. Is there anything we can do? If not can anyone reccommend a tent for us we need big as we have 4 children and definately need 3 bedrooms. As a new member thanks in advance for an help and advice you can offer me.
you can seal the seams with seam sealent, you can get it in an camping shop, you will need to erect the tent, seal the seams then leave up for it to dry (2hrs)
Hi, how speedy are you guys in replying - thanks, its 5/6 years old so we were wondering if it was worth repairing or whether it was time to buy a new one. I assume warranty is 1 year.
if its getting on for 6 years old and been used a lot it may be time to replace it, having siad that seam selaant is pretty cheap and easy to do? you could always wait fro the end of the season when there are even more bargains to be had
