Hi all hope your all having a nice day!

Question1: We are staying at Skyeside camping in the Lake District from Sunday 20th July for 3 nights. What is the best time to arrive to get a good pitch?

Question2: Even though they took our house number and post code we havent recieved conformation in the post. Do you usually get confirmation from camp sites as its a long way to go if they have forgotten us!?

If you happen to be at Skyeside during this time look out for the two stressed looking women with the black labrador and come and say hi

They should have the arrival time listed on their website and I would go at that time. You will have many leaving on Sunday and you should be fine.

I wouldn't worry too much about the confirmation as you just give your name when you check in. You can always ring them as well.

Usually sites don't allow you to check in before noon but you can always phone them and ask. Then while your on the phone confirm your booking. Most times I book by phone then just turn up. I've never had any problems with this system. The only times I've had written confirmation is when I've paid a deposit.

You'll have a great time and the dog will love it.

I've stayed at Sykeside many times & never had trouble finding a pitch. Enjoy the lakes.
