Non of the ones I look at are forcasting any big improvement except for a short spell 15 to 23 july give or take a few days most seem to reckon this summer will continue wet and unsettled
who cares???? camping is fun whatever weather, yeah its a bit more hassle if the weather is bad but do what we do take some games, our satnav palys films, music, and go visit places! also get a good raincoat and go for a walk! I did the Caledonian Challenge the other year and it was raining tons for most of it so now can neveer ever complain about any weather ever again!
We have a week at end of July and last 2 weeks of August in Cornwall.
I hate the thought of being cold and damp and having to spend a fortune doing all the indoor touristy things.
We're booked on a site which is within walking distance of two fabulous beaches (Crantock and PollyJoke) so don't want to be stuck in my tent playing Ludo trying to keep the damp out of my (increasingly) ageing bones!!
We continue to predict an enhanced chance of more frequent cloudy and cool spells compared to recent summers prior to 2007. Nevertheless, mean temperatures are more likely to be above the 1971-2000 average.
Rainfall
Our forecasting methods favour above-average or near-average rainfall for the remainder of the summer period.

The grass on your pitch will be lush & green, which is nicer than yellow & solid. Don't worry its only showers - it'll will have stopped raining before you've got the crib board out.
