Yeah very addictive...I haven't seen my missus for 2 weeks......lol                                                                                      

i also think this site is excellent.  i first found it when i first took up holiday camping (had only done festivals previously) in 2006, i was looking for a campsite to go to and found it on here. i found the check list invaluable and the campsite reviews informative. 

came back to here last year to find another campsite, but why i waited till 2008 and re-visiting our first campsite to become a member i'll never know, should have done it in 2006!  and i can't get off it, i'm on every day!

would recommend this to any camper, novice and experienced as there's always something new to learn. and to find other like minded people who don't give you a funny sigh when you tell them your going camping.

It's just too addictive. You know you have a problem when you are checking posts at 2.00am!!!

Returned to camping after many many years..

Feels like I have read every thread going. Is there a UKCS anonymous I can attend somewhere to try and weed myself off?

The addiction to reading practically every new post of interest alas, has proved my downfall -  it has proved to be very expensive... I am now the owner of two Fat Airics, a nice sleeping bag and a Cobb :-)

Altho on the positive side, I  have saved myself a tenner by purchasing a UFO LED light over an electric one :-)

As a newbie on this site I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the UKCS members... Keep up the good work, this site is a treasure...

it is a addictive site im online all day and spend all the time with ukcs in the tool bar just having a nose at what peeps are upto b4 you know it uve posted 1000 times and it doesnt stop there

its like a camping dictionary for all

Very good site, but as already commented - very addictive!  I love being nosey and finding out what all you other campers are up to!!
