Our tent a coleman weathermaster plus was letting in water last year so we got some wateproofing spray and sprayed the inside but this weekend we had to leave our campsite early as the water was pouring into our tent.

we've tried ringing around a few places to see if anyone will waterproof it for us but nobody seems to do it, how do we go about doing it properly this time, as we obviously didn't last time.

On the inside of the tent you can see where the waterproof stuff is coming off, its just peeling off, we obviously have to remove all that first, any ideas how?

Well why did you waterproof on the inside?

Is your tent canvas,  polycotton or polyester.

And do you remember the brand you used

Buy any make of waterproofer that you prefer, on the outside either spray it or use a roller,make-sure it is dry.and then tent will be waterproof.

To be honest this isn't as simple a topic as it sounds,

Consider how old is your tent

How much wear as the fabric and seams had, Just how much will the reproofer cost you in time and money.

If it is a small two to three man dome etc could you buy a new tent in the sales for not much more.  I would advise you way up all the pros and cons first.
