We are going to cornwall in three weeks and I think it might be an idea to invest in some delta pegs ! Can anyone tell me where i can get them from ? They don't seem to sell them on here and our local GoOutDoors (coventry) doesn't sell them, although they did have some pegs that you put in with an electric type screwdriver.
By all accounts there's a place to enter "UKCS" and get a 10 percent discount.
Haven't used mine yet, but when you handle them you wonder how any large tent manufacturer has the nerve to supply dinky tent pegs with big tents ....
.
Hi Andrea, I'd recommend both obviously, but it really depends on the kind of ground you're pitching on.
Supertough nylon (I hate the word plastic,I know it's generic but it reminds me of things out of Christmas crackers from Hong Kong) they're pretty good for soft to quite firm ground. Stainless steel would used in harder ground but are sometimes bought for their quality. They will be items that are going to last in ground from soft to hard/shale.

We all know Rob Orr (inventor of the Delta) is a clever man, well i think he has had another great idea. He is letting us retailers sell the superb Delta peg. So you should start to see the Delta in your local Camping Retailer.
Thank you Gary. Well, you can't get a better endorsement than that.
It won't be every retailer just yet but I am certainly looking forward to dealing with Gary and his team at Cross Camping.
