hello we have just given up camping for a few years. had 2 terrible trips due to weather, and having a nine month old, twas a nightmare, but not to put you off......i wrapped my baby up, first night, was worried she could be cold...had, vest, babygro, socks, cardigan, and sleeping bag......about an hour after i put her to bed, she over heated and vomited like ive never seen before! She was covered, her sleeping bag was covered, the 'walls' of the bedroom, my sleeping bag.............what im trying to say is.....kids are very tough, my two were in just normal sleeping bags, think my boys was 9 pound from the local camping shop, my babies was a bit more, as its a little one...why do they charge more for smaller things . They wore just their normal pj's, and socks...so my top tip, for what its worth is..wrap them up in the evening before they start to feel the evening chill, cos once you get cold its harder to warm them up, ours had warm milk before bed too....wow, realised i ave gone on a bit, feel a bit of a hipocryte (sp) as we wont be going again for years lol
have fun, oh and those silver mats, you can get, ours were 2 quid each i think from poundstretcher! under your airbeds.....they are brilliant Have a great time!!
