Hi all, we're about to embark on our third trip since we got the bug. The last two times the car and roof box were jam packed and we only went for long weekends. This time we're going for a week and we're taking four boogie boards and wetsuits as well so we need to cut down on what we take. We used an old set of house pans before but I'm thinking of getting a set of nesting camping pans. Can anyone recommend a good set for four poeple.

Thanks all.

Asda are doing a set just now for camping that should suffice, we got one for our family camping and theres 5 of us. Its even got a kettle!! cost around £12. Havent used them camping yet, but they look like they will do the job with possibly the exception of the frying pan which is rather small, but you could do what we do and take an extra (non stick) frying pan for the early morning bacon butties.

we spent £31 on coleman pans, small fryer, medium pot and large pot, non sick anodised folding handles in a handy carry case. i expect them at that price to last for a while. washed up well, good heat distrubution even on windy days and nothing stuck. quality will always for me not bothered by price.

We bought the Tefal Jamie Oliver Survival kit in Camouflage Blue. Wouldnt be without it, Infact we use it at home as well. Bought it from Amazon when they had a sale on. Still get them for around £50 if you shop around

Wow, that Jamie Oliver kit is just the ticket, I'm very impressed. Can't justify buying them right now but that's a practical set of pans for my wishlist.

I think the Coleman pans look the right thing. The Jamie Oliver ones have glass lids which must weigh quite a bit.

I have a non stick frying pan, an old aluminium kettle and a saucepan from home.   I am going to be looking round for something more suitable before we go on our next trip so would be interested in suggestions too. There is only two of us and we have a single gas burner.

Cheers Latecamper

Those do indeed look amazing, might get them and use them at home to as our home ones are old and take up too much space!
