from worcestershire to Cardiganshire coast?....always seems to take forever...I was thinking of going accross to Aberaeron and then down the coast road to cardigan?

Forgot to mention we're towing a trailer and trying to avoid as many hills as possible !...not easy I know !

Almost the same question ... we're in East Glos and are heading to Cardigan. The M4 seems narrower for some reason once we cross the bridge and we don't fancy the M4 all the way, so we thought using the A40 through to Brecon, then to Camarthen and then Cardigan.  Anyone local know of any problems with these roads  - are they a notoriously blocked or slow?!

try going to M50 to Abergavenny  Senny Bridge Llandovery then onto Carmarthen. then it depends on where you are going on the coast as to what road you take,  this is a fairly easy road we have travelled it many times &  fairly quiet

    i agree sennybridge best route to follow beware some sharp bends along way but towing a trailer wont be a problem have followed this route to newquay many times .great scenery theres even a gold mine on route.so leave a little room in trailer for a nugget or two happy camping...

We live in Builth Wells.  Avoid here at all costs fro the next 10 days - the Royal Welsh Show is on and it will be very very busy!  Totally agree with Winnie1 - she/he is totally correct that that's the best way for you.

Remember, what ever way you decide to come into Wales, you'll always be welcome! 

We'll keep a welcome in the hillside, we'll keep a welcome in that vales......!!!!!!

Genie, where did you stay?  We've just returned from outside Cardigan from a great CS and found the area really lovely and are noting other sites in the area as a possible 'return-to' although the CS would be top of our list.
