Hi, we currently have a double air bed with a raised pillow section which I find terribly uncomfortable, we are used to a king size at home. We want to buy a new king size airbed which is comfy, easy to put up and doesnt take up too much room in the car. can anyone recommend anything please?budget is around £35 but willing to pay more for the right airbed. Thanks in advance.

We have two king sized airbeds.

We bought them for about £13 each in decathlon and they are so comfy I cannot believe it!

They are covered in a velvety fleece and we put fitted sheets over the top (dog hairs stick like hell otherwise) and they are completely flat (no raised pillow)

We put both these together and they cover the whole bedroom and OH, myself v. tall 13 year old daughter and 24kg dog sleep on these with loads of room to spare.

Hi, we bought an intex queen size double height bed, cost abot £30 inc delivery on ebay. Used 4 times so far v good.
Double height makes it much easier to get off, esp you got any back problems. Think king size will be too big, you would probably need to unzip bedroom dividers to fit.

Hello- we have an Intex Queen size air bed with an internal pump which is great- very comfy and is double height too. Was only £32 on http://www.only-airbeds.co.uk/Airbeds%20for%20Home/Home%20-%20Deluxe%20Pillow%20Rest

would definately recommend the website- delivery was excellent- 48 hours!

Front to back, the Montana 6's bedroom pod is the same size as our Vermont. We have a Coleman Queen Size Quickbed and it just about fits, a larger one would damage the pod.

After trying a number of thinner double airbeds I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Coleman. It is fairly high, very comfortable and easy to get in/out of because of the height. However, they seem to sell for around £42 which I appreciate is above your budget.

I've never seen or used the Intex beds so I can't comment on them first-hand. My initial concerns would be over the quality and longevity of the built-in air pump... some of the £30 purchase price has to cover the cost of the inbuilt air pump, the rest for the bed itself. If the pump packs up, can you readily use an external pump?
