We really would like to look at as many tents as we can before purchasing so i was wondering where is the best place to see as many models of tent possible.

We dont want to travel too far but if we have to...

anyhoo we are situated in the Darlington area so any advice gratefully recieved.

the one at Ripley castle is only about 40 miles away and starts again on the 6th August

British Caravans on Sandy lane, Newcastle has loads on display. 

Tyne Valley garden centre at Prudoe. 

There is a regular weekend display at a camping shop at Backworth near Shiremoor.

British Caravans is best in my opinion.  Really good price service and selection of camping gear.

All the local shops seem to be quite small and i guess wouldn't have much space for tents but for any other acesseries they will be handy
