Just come back from a couple of nights camping which now takes our grand total of C&CC sites visited to 4 (we haven't been at this camping game long yet).
Anyway, I have yet to find a shower that I can stand under without having to carry out some bizarre squat type thing to avoid only being washed from the waist down.
Now admittedly at 6'3 I'm tall, but not abnormally so (or am I?). Does anybody else find that showers seem to be installed for people of 5'6 and under or have I just had bad luck so far ?
Before I get slated, I know that some people like to go away and not worry about showers etc, but I get a bit grumpy at having to limbo to wash my hair (ask the OH)......
Off to Damage Barton in a couple of weeks, so will update on the height of showers there.....
Hi
Who was it said, You can please all of the campers some of the time. You can please some of the campers all of the time. But you can not please all of the campers all of the time.
Sorry to here of your misfortune in the campsite showers.
Regards
Rex

I have the same problem I'm 5ft 11 and find that I can get my shoulders wet but not my hair, which is fine if I don't want to wash my hair, but most of the time I do. Shower heads that are fixed seem to be fixed at 5ft8. It's a pain and if you try and limbo too much you can fall on the wet floor and hurt yourself - believe me I've done it. And it's not just C&CC sites, it's lots of sites in all countries.
Yep I have the same problem if I want to wash my hair....have never been great at the limbo and it makes for an awkward rather than relaxing shower. At 6' though I'm starting to get used to it - its the same in the gym and at the swimming pool
So, are all the shower heads on any one campsite set at the same height?
As the average height for men would be higher than the average height for women, wouldn't it make more sense if the shower heads in the mens showers were set a couple of inches higher than the womens? Anyone know what campsites actually do, ie all the same height or men's higher? MT
PS and do we really care?
