Are you a first-time camper?

Many of us are having to change our holiday plans this year because of the credit crunch. I’m writing a feature for a national newspaper about camping and I’m trying to find a family who are about to go camping for the first time, rather that staying in a hotel or holiday cottage. If this applies to you and you’re setting off on your first camping trip (must be in the UK and in a tent) in the next couple of weeks, please get in touch. The article will be a lot of fun and you’ll be paid £100 for taking part. If you’re interested, please email adrian at montimedia.co.uk  or phone 01273 559956 as soon as possible, including a contact number.  Look forward to hearing from you and please do pass this on to any friends who may be interested

All the best

Go for it Mathew, don't forget to take your Delta pegs and make sure they do not try to make fun out of your new way of holidaying.

Hi Adrian,

I'm not sure if this counts but we are going camping for the 1st time on the 25th Aug to the isle of White. We have opted for a pre-erected tent as we want to see how we get on before buying a tent and equipment.

If this fits your critea then please don't hestiate to contact me and I will gladly give you a review

Thanks

Rex, Caster fits the bill! and that £100 will be a big help buying a tent rather than the tarp from the wagon he was going to use, think we should let him know A.S.P

£100 to be followed around and photographed using all the camp facilities ?

I take it this isn't one of the nationals ?

Well I suppose it might make a dent in the diesel bill....

I'm not a family though and it isn't quite my first time camping (and I wouldn't stay in a hotel or holiday cottage even if you paid all the expenses.

My first time next week and would be petrified to be followed and ridiculed through my first virgin performance.

Took kids to funfair last week, only stayed an hour as only had 300 quid on me!

Our first time next week as a family of 5 and I think the idea of then appearing in a newspaper would drive OH to a b&b !

Just a word of caution, when replying to Adrians request ensure that you do not state either your home adress or when your're planning to leave for holiday.

I'm not being overly suspicious but would you tell a stranger where you live and when your home will be unoccupied?

A note of caution, do not give your full adress or when you're going to be away, you never know who may get this information.

I'm not overreacting but personally I wouldn't tell a complete stranger where I lived and when my house would be unoccupied!!!!
