Hi everyone, we bought a end of line frame tent at the end of last season, although I believe it was actually a 2006 model tent! It still hasn't been out but want to get out and give it a whirl. I think it's a Trigano.
I remember when I was a kid and Mum and Dad got a new tent (about 30 yrs ago now when mahoosive 'continental' frame tents were the bees knees), we spent a weekend on the promenade near our house with the tent put up on the grassed areas (like loads of people), 'seasoning' it. i.e. letting it sit in the sun and rain for a while. Recall it was something about making seams swell up to make it watertight etc.
Apart from getting the tent up to practice the poles etc, does this sort of thing still need to happen?
Thanks
