I have been to my local www.motor-world.com and they have a set of roof bars for my mk3 mondeo for sale for £49, also a monte blanc 350l roof box with locks for £99.
Is that the cheapest you can get, its only on offer until the 31st of july.

what make are the roof bars?

I bought Thule bars for my mondeo and they cost £85.00 and a thule roof box cost £170.00

so the pirce you quoted looks very good

It's worth looking on eBay for some used bars. I got Fords own Aero Bars for my Focus mk2, nearly new for about £30 complete with fixing kit.

This company are doing Bars and box for £130.

We got ours from here and they are super, we also got a free hoist to store it in the garage and a couple of handy straps. Their service was excellent.

I got my roofbox and bars from there as well and I will echo those comments.

Automaxi bars, i had them on my focus so i know they are very good quality.

had a look at the motor world website and that box can be had £20.00 cheaper on line not sure what the P&P would be on it

 

if you could get bars and a box for not much over £120.00 then that would be very good

Hi

Just bought the roof box.  They are £20 cheaper online, but the P&P is £12, only saving £8.  I bought it from the shop.  I did do a lot of shopping around before i bought it and found this to be a good deal.
