Yes I am afraid you are correct about a lot of the modern tents, and of course you can camp without the use of delta pegs, but they are just another string to our bows these days, and to be honest even after camping all my life, I definitely feel happier with delta pegs and line-lock guy adjusters on my frame tents than I did three years ago, when the frame starts creaking

Not against them at all Rex in fact all for anything that helps just against the general trait lately that if you don't use them you shouldn't be camping. The same as I use these cling on imergency tarp clips to add guys again you need to be carefull how you use them so as not to damage your tent but another usefull addition to the camping odds and sods we all rely on
