hi all

just loading the car for a 2 nite stay in lowther up in the lakes - the bbc 5 day forecast is obviously in keeping with my luck these days - light showers and heavy rain tues/weds/thurs.... and you've guessed it sunny when we're back home lol

feeling very relaxed and excited about this trip my second 'proper' trip since last month in edale - have ditched all the stuff that never got touched on the last trip can definitley see the benefit already in space saved in the car.....funny how after each trip i'm sure i'll become more and more clued up about exactly what needs to go with me  

anyway have invested in better walking gear off t'internet over the last few weeks and even shot up to 'go outdoors' in stockport today for some groundhog pegs (recommended for the rocky pitch i may or may not get that has been mentiond on reviews of the site - so thanks for the great tips) - i was like a wide eyed kid in that shop lol - so can't wait to test my new bits out

so wish me luck - i don't know who's more excited me or my 4 yr old

Good luck digweed and i don't doubt you will love it.

Also the bbc 5 day forercast is soooo unreliable and i wouldnt take too much notice

i've got everything crossed for dry weather - it's lovely where i am right now in cheshire - shame i'm driving 2 hours up the m6 in the morning lol

well i'm ur typical camping/walking newbie - all the gear and no idea lol

hope to get a good run up the m6 and dry till thursday - is that TOO much to ask for?

i mean i even luv camping that much i enjoy warm beer when i'm away  lol
