i have always worked in the building trade, i have collected offcuts of kingspan insulation (usually used on loft conversions).
the first time we used it i made a box about 2' cube taped together with a loose lid.
we put a couple of cases of beer in the fridge, froze almost all our food and bought several 2 litre bottles of water.
we loaded it just before we set off and it was a massive success with the exception that wereever there is a cut edge it releases a type of dust, so upon our return i made a plywood box and lined the inside of it with the kingspan, taped all the edges and lined it with a wheelie bin liner.
we have just come back from a 3 night stay, and upon arriving home late we left it in the van containing just some surplus wine/beer etc. the next morning (day 5) the wine was still cool. an absolute must for us as we never use ehu, prefering a farmers field to stay we do forfeit these luxuries.
