Well  you could  just go camping  for years  convince yourself he really  likes  it  and  then get divorced  about 10  years  later with him  citing amongst  other  things that he hated going camping and wanted to go  on a proper holiday  even though he appeared to enjoy  himself while away .............

its  one  or the  other  im  afraid ,

I love my camping, as does the other half and my son, but I can't sleep on an irbed for some reason ..... much prefer to be on a self inflating mattress or rollmat.

I like to be outdoors and the last two camping trips haven't been great on the weather front, but I'm a believer that your holiday is what you make it ....... and the weather with camping is all part of it.

Three years ago I spent a small fortune for 7 nights in Lanzarote in a private villa with a pool etc. As we walked down the main street, I honestly thought I could have been at any UK seaside location. The best thing about the week was the weather and being totally relaxed!

I've had more fun and enjoyable time since getting a tent, thats for sure and my OH knows that if she said she wasn't going, I'd still go anyway!

Hubby has reassured me that its just because he is not used to it!!! Bless him.

He has promised no moaning in Cornwall, not sure I believe him as it would take divine intervention for that to happen but he is trying.

I am going to invest in a new airbed the coleman comfort, with plenty of blankets. Oh and lots of wine, he obviously didn't have enough last time.

All I need now is the sun to shine.
