Have a few days free - mon, tue and weds next week and would love to pack up and go camping but looking at the long range forecast it looks pretty bad up north

Any suggestions on where there might be just a little hint of sunshine for next week in the uk?

Well all my hopes of going camping next week have now gone out of the window now as I am going to be busy now  and the week after I am busy too so will be climbing the walls if I cant get away the following week

Needs must Oops, like you I'm not doing much for the next few weekends, and I am itching to go, BH is going to be my next outing - cant wait, whatever the weather (but if it does rain, will remember to shut the window this time! LOL)

Wanted to go this week, but car went in for MOT Monday, just needed 2 tyres, so DH took it to work Tuesday and got them fitted, driving home, some idiot shunted him at a junction . Upshot is, too expensive to repair, so will be written off  .

We not going anywhere now, got to find new car.

Aw thanks Oopsadaisy. Yes I loved my car . Damage didn't look that bad, but cause car 13 yrs old, insurers considered not worth repairing. My DH wasn't hurt luckily, so thankful for that. We think we have located another car, but will have to get towbar fitted for towing trailer and/or trailer tent. Looking forward to going away Bank Holiday instead.

It would be fantastic if we all had great weather whilst camping, but unfortunitly this is GB and  we all know  there is no gaurantee  with out weather!!
