 - we are off to Norfolk today or tomorrow (depending when hubby finishes work) for a week.

We booked a while ago and are more than ready for a break, if it rains we will just stay holed up in the tent with lots of toys and books for the kids and relax.

Wellies are packed...

I agree - sometimes the 'Dunkirk spirit' comes in to play & everyone rallies round each other & just makes the most of it (bit over-dramatic, sorry!)

I have fond memories (it's always food memories in my life!) of a meal of beans looking out onto pouring rain having just pitched up near the Dalby forest in Yorkshire.

If you waited for a decent forecast in this country you'd never go! There's plenty to do on a day out even in the rain. A bit of sunshine would be nice though.....

Hi I have always said nothing would stop me going away no matter what the weather,As i was packing for my hoilday this afternoonI ( Kiln park ,Tenby ,) I was going tomorrow ( Saturday) Haven rang me to cancel my holiday, As the field has been floooded with all the rain they have had,I was so upset,Luckily we have manage to get in at Parkfoot in the Lake District,I hope its ok,As i have never been hear before,
