We're after a double sleeping bag and are struggling to find one big enough - we want width so we're not going to be on top of each other all night....

If I buy 2 single sleeping bags, can they be zipped together? I know my Mum & Dad used to do this when we went camping as youngsters but I'm not sure if this is still a possiblity with newer bags.

some bags come as a left and a right, we sold a pair around easter. Coleman do some which are black and red.

The mummy style sleeping bags have left and right hand zips, you need one of each to zip them together, however as the square bottomed envelope bags have no hood they generally zip together quite easily, best thing to do is go to a camping shop if you have one handy and have a look at some

As an alternative, if you are sleeping on top of an inflatable airbed, why not take your duvet instead ? We have used ours before in the summer.

Got one - Sunncamp Crossfire 350. Can't seem to find it on the net but they had them in Camping International, and for a good price.

235x170cm so plenty big enough for the both of us.
