We have just bought a suncamp vario family 900 tent for £369.

I phoned my insurance company to see if we were covered and direct line have quoted me an additional £70 to cover it for the next three months as this is when we are up for our contents renewal.

Do you think its worth paying this. The insurance wont cover for storm or flood damage. It just seems a lot just for a tent.

Can someone please give me some advice.

does it cover flying objects ?? Our brolly pierced a hole in ours (which i taped up) but other people have experienced flying gazebos and things. Someone let off a fire work last week that landed on someone's tent, i heard.

The camping and caravanning club sell insurance for tents
I don't think UKCS as one though.
I think that is excessive for 3 months
Myself I take my own risk.

Hi iv just gone with the Camping and Carvan club as we have just brought a new  Vango Amazon and all the camping equipment new to go with it also we got a good deal i think.
