You should be posting this in the free adverts section Dubby . I think you will find that the site admin might well remove this thread soon. This section and others on the forum are for the purpose of information exchange, advice and discussion, not advertising.
Have you thought of putting these on Ebay? They will sell quickly and easily. I have just sold the same thing myself in just a day or so.
ahh not been on here for a while i just guessed this was the area for it.
admin's any chance you can move this to the right area ?...
also Fleebay, well won't use it unless i really have to, can't stand the site the ammount of money they take from you is a rip off..., if you don't mind me asking what did you end up getting what you wanted price wise on fleebay ?
Well Dubby mine was a bit of a drama really. Me being a bit silly.
I thought that my Rigipod Excelsior would be just the thing. I was looking on Ebay a lot. I saw this one and did a bit of reading up. A unit that I could just take the base unit etc etc and take other add ons if the OH and others were to join us (usually its just me and my daughter). Well this one come up that was only a few miles away. I bid on it and got it. Won it on the Sunday. Collected it on the Monday. Put it up on the Monday evening in the garden and realised I had a purchased something far too huge for my needs (realised that putting it up on my own, even with help from the daughter of 10 was going to be just a bit too much). I put it back on Ebay that evening and it was gone by the end of the week.
I paid £250 for it and got £245 for it. Relief. I thought I was gonna be stuck with it as the school holidays had started by then.
It was about 3 years old with two bed pods and a sun canopy, a ground sheet and in very excellent nick.
Selling it on Ebay cost me £10. Worth every penny I think. Bear in mind that a classified ad in a local paper is probably about the same, if not more, and you have nowhere near the coverage.
I don't know why you would think that Fleabay is a rip off. Think of it, you get to advertise an item for sale and it reaches the whole country and you are almost guaranteed to sell the item. If you don't sell the item you don't pay the full price. Remember the good old days of selling through classified ads. You paid for the time you got whether you sold or not. The only people that might see your advert were people in the area, that happened to buy that publication, that happened to be looking for one of those things. And no I don't work for Fleabay. Anything that gets really popular is going to have its slaters.
If I were you I would stick it in the free ads section, the mods won't move it for you. I would sell on Ebay with some good photos too. Just my view though.
