Just come back from first camping trip, great time although weather was terrible but it's what you make it isn't it!

Anyway my question to all you experienced campers here is, I struggled to get the poles through the canvas on the tent is there a knack to this or a trick of the trade?

It took nearly two hours to erect all in all and loads of time was spent on the poles and there were two of us, the rest was a breeze.

Same thing happened on packing up poles were a nightmare again.

Anyway still had a great time and will be doing it all again in 10 days.

BTW the tent is a Gelert Cadiz 5 if that highlights anything.

i found it was easier to put the pole together after each section was nearly through apart from two inches rather than put the whole thing together and then struggle with a 10ft pole lol. the same with getting the pole out, my hubby would slowly push the pole through and as it emerged i would dismantle it
