Hi Baby Elephant, first an foremost, you've got the important bit right. You've included the Pupsta!!
Your main flex poles need aligning, just slightly to take up the slack, and then readjust the guys, and you'll be just peachy!!
Have fun!!

By flex poles do you mean the fact that you can see "slack" and the tent dipping between the poles? If that's what you mean then I understand! I couldn't pull the tent taught because the garden wasn't big enough but I on a proper pitch I will be able to set it out properly. I was concerned about the guy ropes since I didn't really know what to do with them and the tension thingies!
Ian you are more than welcome to camp in my garden anytime. We have full facilities (including a freezer for your ice blocks, toilets, showers, washing machine etc ) plenty of homemade wine in the garage and even a spare bedroom if the weather gets too bad (though you'd have to share the bed with the dogs )

Hi BabyElephant
I just realised I may have a slight problem getting my tent up in your garden, ive just bought the Vango Yukon 800.
Saying that after a couple of bottle of that home brew, i'll sleep anywhere, any hedge will do.....lol

Hi BabyElephant,
I understand what you mean about not being enough room to tighten the slack, that's cool!!
The guy ropes will be easy enough to deal with out in the field.
I see you have a great range of essential camping accessories in the form of dog toys too!!
Enjoy your maiden trip, and make sure you leave plenty of room in the boot to take your wine!!
