I have just purchased my first ever tent an Outwell Nevada XL and reading through various sites it seems I would be advised to get a footprint/grounsheet. However all the sites I have tried are out of stock and not likely to be getting any in.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get one or if there is an alternative to use.

Norwich Camping have the 2007 footprint for £22.99.

We've used them before and they are really friendly and helpful.

I use a tarp from b& q for my nevada xl, , cost £8.99. its too big, I think about 8mx 5m , and the tents about 7x 3.5m so you have to fold the excess under the tent, or cut it to size. Make sure no excess sticks out under the tent or it will collect rain between the sig and tarp.

You don't need to be fussy with it, just push it in under the tent when erected, does the job and keeps the sig clean and dry.

if you decide to cut it to fit, make it an inch or two shorter all the way around, and use a scissors for safety, not a stanley knife which might slip and damage the sig.

Many thanks, Norwich camping like all others dont have it on line and I think the Tarp is certainly going to be the best and cheapest way to go, thanks again for the advice

Got a Nevada XL Footprint on monday from Intertent / Pj Camping (0118 940 1762).

I phoned and he said he had at least 3, got it next day too.

Sorry for delay in thanking you but been waiting to see if Groundsheet arrived unlike two others that after taking order told me they were out of stock.

However PJ had the sheet and its now with me.
