Hello newbie here after some advice we have just bought this

but what gas would be best, ive got a gas bottle which I use for my bbq, but as im struggling for space for all camp stuff in the car was wondering what else would be ok to use.

You can use the bbq gas on this cooker. but if its a big bottle and you want to change to a small one dealers will sometimes exchange the bottle for a smaller one.

You can use the red propane gas or the blue butane. As long as you have the correct regulator.

a calor gas 4.5kg is small enough to fit into regular size bucket. refills cost about £15.

You can get a red propane dumpy size too,a bit smaller than the 4.5,  not sure of the cost.

A campingaz 907 is smaller than the calor 4.5kg, but costs £18 for a refill, you can also get a smaller one , a 904 .

Similar question I asked recently - being a newbie to.

Ended up with a Camping Gaz 907 as we will hopefully get to France and it is available there and calor isn't.

Hi , basically you can use whatever gas you have as long as you have the correct regulator, and Steve is correct if you go to France/Spain etc they have camping gaz and a 907 cylinder should last 2 weeks give or take a day , and calor etc isn't available over there
