Yes, I realise that Bank hols are a popular time to go away and that 'proper' campers book their favourite site years in advance, but...

we have just decided to go away this weekend, when something else fell through.

But everywhere is booked up !!! any ideas how we find somewhere nice to take us within about 2 hours of Leeds ??

Have you tried Red Bank Farm at Boulton le sands?

Nice site less than 2 hours away from you, M62 then M6 and it's just a short drive from junction 35

Sorry to jump in, I have phoned 53 places within 3 hours of Southend on sea and everyone is completely booked up.

So if I join the CC club online, will I get in anywhere???????

Hi Sarah, most C&CC sites accept non members, you could try ringing their central reservations number Here, and find out if they have the spaces first!

We managed to get in with Hawkswick Cote Caravan park last week - might be worth trying them (we don't mind if you join us lol!). Wood Nook said they had spaces but they were too soggy to commit last week -- might have dried up (lol). I phoned about 40 sites on Monday last week trying to find somewhere though...

Thanks anyway, I found something in East Sussex. But am thinking about joining that club anyway just to ensure that I don't have to camp with people who don't restrict themselves from being morons!!!!!
