Where in Wolverhampton is it going to be. Which paper did you read it in E & S or free papers.
Read it in the express and star and apparently It's going to be on the Bilston Road just past Renault in the old Wickes DIY building. Must admit I havent been past there for a while and haven't seen anything since there advertising it so not sure when it actually opens.
September 26th seems to ring a bell with me - it looked almost ready when we drove past and they have a huge banner outside saying opening soon!
We have now moved from wolverhampton, but we are only 20 mins up the road in Telford. Can you confirm the opening date for me, as Bro in law wants a new tent, and we like shopping!!!

We've got a new camping shop just opened within walking distance of us and it's owned by people who actually do camping...!
Hi Taviour, whats the new store called in Prescot and where about is it please?
I HATE Go Outdoors with a passion - I hate the way they have two prices for everything and you have to have a card to get the lower price.
OK if you are buying something big - but both times we have been in we have been after small things which didn't warrant buying the card, but meant that we paid more than other shops would have charged (although didn't realise this till we got home) as the price with the card is generally only the same as everywhere else sells for.
The one in Wolverhampton is already open, looks like it opened yesterday! we went in today to have a look at the 'opening offers' they say they have - could we find any of them NO . Unless they're having an official opening day next week.
they have a nice little outside area with about a dozen or so tents on display, but no indoor display like Coventry do. It is much more geared for cycling and loads of clothing items - at least half the store.
It was quite funny though as everything was all stacked nicely, tents all on their shelves where they should be - we couldn't find a bloomin thing!
I use the Coventry Go Outdoors regularly, and have never had any trouble with customer service
I asked what they were arranging all the shop layout for last week and they said camping equipment has mainly been sold off/stored at the moment as they specialise more in the clothing lines for christmas
I also got my bear lake 6 there after showing the yeomans price and getting the price match - paid £480 for it
Favourite camping supplies shop by far is Jacksons at Arley (warwickshire) It is like the Market Place in ikea, just full of random bits and bobs at a good price
Also does trailers, tents, caravan fittings (I needed new wardrobe rollers and they sell things like this - very helpful) everything!
We generally use the Stockport store but before GoOutdoors expanded we used to use CCC at Sheffiled (the original) and we still think this is the best store. We have also been to their stores at Wigan and Coventry. The staff at Sheffield are so friendly and knowlegable.
