I have the same problem with my Chatsworth a good mix of Trial and error as far as I'm aware with a lot of blood sweat and tears, its like packing a suitcase.  Think I've packed mine differantly every time.  I tend to get the kids to sit on the tent to get as much air out of it as possible.

The bag we got our tent in was much bigger in the first place and we can get it back in no problem.  We fold any extra bits of the tent into the middle and then keep folding it in half until it gets to the size of the bag (so long and thin).  Then I stomp up and down getting all the air out and then hubby rolls it up as tight as he can and then we both stuff it in the bag and hope for the best

It'a a challange isn't it? I've never been able to get them back in the bag first time, too much air in it I think. I usually leave stuff out like pegs and poles and try to get the main 'body' of the tent in the bag. I sort it all out at home after a trip. A day or two for it to sort of settle seems to make all the difference. A tent  hubby bought not long ago seems to have a slightly bigger bag, that one goes in first time. Maybe tent manufacturers are getting wiser.

My hubby folds ours up then wrestles with it on the ground to get the air out - I'm tempted to buy a bigger bag to put it in though

The only tent I've ever had which came in a bag big enough to go back in with all its pegs and poles was a Rage Alta 4.

All the supposedly quality manufacturers seem to skimp on this essential bit of kit.

I usually end up with the poles & pegs in another bag that I have recycled from an old tent.

Much patience, cursing and sweating is how to get it back in lol

I think that making sure it is as wide as the bag will allow is important or it will be thicker when folded/rolled and therefore more difficult to get in the bag

If it has a SIG, dont forget to leave the doors open a little to let the air out

Roll as tight as you can and cross your fingers
