We had a tt last year and though dd had a chest infection she still wanted to go away. I asked the Dr if it was alright and he said as long as she is kept warm and off the floor she'd be fine. Off the floor was ok cos its beds are a foot off the ground but what to do about warm? We had a 2 bar electric fire but there was no way that i was going to leave that on overnight. We had a long electric oil filled radiator in the loft and dh had to get that down so we could take it with us. It was brilliant and even though i now have a caravan i have got 2 little ones that we use in the caravan and awning, it really warms the awning up on chilly nights.
I wear my chavy tracksuit in bed (I was born in Chatham so I can say that), I wouldn't wear it anywhere else, it's all snuggly and fluffy inside and keeps me very warm.
When I was little my parents used to by us a new camping tracksuit to wear in bed each year, I think the last one they bought me was ET with a picture of him on the bike! lol
hi there we did use a halogen heater but the glow from outside left some verry funny shadows . we now use a £5 fan heater from tesco!! thermostatic controll saftey switch on the bottom and it has 2 heat settings 1.2kw and 1.8kw and when its warm during the day you can have a blow setting with no heat ,this heats our outwell vermont xl extremley well including the front poarch area and for £5 you cant argue with price ,
happy camping and gud luck (id love the body heat option tho just cant get rid of the kids long enough lmao )
we use a gas lantern and if it's really cold we get the hot bots out. We have got one of those little green gas heaters that use the cartridge gas but we only use it every now and then because we don't trust our dog not to walk straight into it
