camping is about weather we will or weather we don't

and as Tigermouse said last autumn was better than the summer.   But It will get chilly in the evenings, so a camping heater and a hot water bottle is a must for me.

We camp well into october, as long as your properly equipped with decent sleeping bags, insulation and a source of heat you should be fine

Bear in mind it goes dark early though, a nearby pub or a portable telly can be useful
