Gosh yes, they are a handful. I know a lot of them get rehomed after a few months and they can drive you to distraction. Our boy has separation issues and chews everything in sight if we go more than 3 feet away from him. He's chewed through several guy ropes, lots of dog leads - his own and other dogs (v.embarrassing!), a seatbelt in my car (v.expensive!) and if we leave him alone in the house he eats our coats and the contents of the kitchen bin. We love him to bits though!!

Your pup is gorgeous!  We take our (v large) greyhound, Molly, with us whenever we go away for the weekend camping, and she really enjoys it.   she loves all the attention and all the other dogs on the site. I'm sure your pup will love it too, and make your camping trips all the more enjoyable.  Have fun!

i have 2 greyhounds,(picture on my profile!)  took them camping the once and  not  not more, my bitch won't do her business on the lead, so for her to go we have to let her off the lead, and the time we took them lucky for us it, it was  may and  only a few of us on site,as she took off with my  dog in tow after rabbits!  pitch black tripping over our tent guys!!!

The puppy is so beautiful.  Makes you go all soft and mushy, doesn't it.  If I was you, I would introduce her to camping as soon as possible to get her used to it.

We took my border collie (the vet swears she is crossed with a springer spaniel but I don't know) camping for the first time in August.  She was excellent.  Didn't cause any problems and slept like a top.  She came on outings with us and was great company.

great if you got pet insurance, if you register as a cross breed, it's a lot cheaper!!
