Having finally dried our Georgia XL last weekend, as we were folding it up, we found a hole! A very small area (about 1 inch long) where the inner wasn't sewn to the groundsheet at all. Phoned up Yeomans online, and they did swapped it out for a whole new tent, no fuss at all. The delivered the new tent today, and took the holey one away. Very impressed with the service :). Just hope the new one has no holes, and we get a chance to put it up in the garden soon!!
Nothing too much trouble and they take time to explain everthing throughly - even when you don't buy anything! Yes that's right went into a camping shop and DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING
There are a couple of threads on here from people (myself included) having some problems with Yeomans customer service. In my case they came good in the end and I would still describe myself as a satisfied customer.
sorry to say that i found them useless. Order 2 items from their website back in August that were in stock and ready for immediate dispatch, nothing came so we called, was told they'd phone back, they didn't!! More calls and more emails, finally get a call saying sorry one of the items is now out of stock(2 weeks later) but extension would be sent straight out and guranteed to be with us by wednesday. That day came and went nothing arrived, phoned again and got told sorry, we have not got them in stock yet!!!!!!! WTF???? Then oh it coming in tomorrow, finally had to get them to send it Sat Am delivery, but still no refund on the out of stock item.
Won't be using them again in a hurry i am sorry to say
Must agree with the rest... purchased a set of melamine and one plate was cracked, phoned them up and two days later a replacement arrived .... top class service
Well i am not from yeomans and i dont work for them and never have but i think they are fab!!
Had nothing but hassle with go outdoors and also found that the staff there don't actually have a clue about tents - whereas at yeomans they do. They understand, they know about the tents, they are v knowledgeable and they are very helpful.
Manageress at my branch goes out of her way to deliver heavy items for me when she finishes work as i dont drive. Will not change my excellent opinion of Yeomans because of some orange capital letters; PamJ
Definately a thumbs up for yeomans, whenever I've been in a store nothng is too much trouble, Go Outdoord however, I'm still waiting for a reply to an e-mail from May.
