Hi,

We pitched our tent on Sunday night.......and its still up in the garden, looking wetter than when I packed it away!! Its chucking it down at the moment, it could be here for another week!!

ours is currently spread out as much as possible in the shed, waiting for a day to dry it outside as it is bigger than any indoor space (plus it's VERY muddy). If this weather doesn't let up we're just going to have to pitch it anyway so it doesn't get smelly and mouldy.

Well our tent has been up in the garden since we came back from bruces cave on 18th august!!  We have not had a sunny day yet where its dried out enough to take it down!!

And now its lovely today and its dried - yet there are black clouds gathering and i just KNOW it will rain before Rob gets home from work.  Also I STILL have my wrist straped up (ARGGGHHH) and not sure i'll be able to be much help to him.

We dried ours out over the bannisters and it's now in the spare room but not in its bag because the garden is too wet to lie it flat and repack it. 

Can someone tell me when summer is going to start, please.

Oh, I've been there once or twice when we've been garden camping.   Put the tent up in the garden, spent Friday and Saturday night in it, leaving it up Sunday with the intention of taking it down when the kids were back at school on Monday - and it is still up weeks later.

I had our Sunncamp cottage up in June - got it down when it was dry, but needed, but didn't get the bedroom sections folded properly, and away, as the groundsheet was wet.   Still waiting to get them away.

Normally we would have spent some time garden camping, especially during the school holidays.   Not this year.    Just been too cold and wet.

We got our tent down Thursday evening!!! The guylines ae a bit damp and the fabric loops that you peg it down with aren't 100% dry, so we haven't packed it in the bag yet, its neatly folded in the garage. Couldn't believe how wet/dirty the bottom of the SIG was, so I've just bought a footprint groundsheet to stop this. I think that I don't want to pack it away, as I know that means its the end of my camping year!
