Hi all, i have read some of your threads and excellent assistence and support seems always to be given.

My wife and I are newbies to camping under canvas and havve just bought a Royal Denver 4.

There it sits on our kitchen floor ready for some adventures BUT don't all laugh at once, no instructions came with it on how to put it up!

I guess my first question is where can i get some instructions/order of assembly? is that the norm or a test to check out if we have any common sense?

I know we will have to define our own way of doing things, if for no other rreason than I use a wheelchair and have very poor grip so we normally have to sort out our own way of doing things.

I reckon we will be regulars on the forum re kit to buy but just being able to get the tent up in our oh so wonderful summer will be a start.

Mike

Hi, go to their website at www.royal-leisure.co.uk, then select your tent from the list and select instructions.

ha ha! We had the same problem with our last tent, vango diablo. You can normally find the instructions on the internet, like someone has said above. (very nice person to even put the link on for you too!!) We looked on the internet for our instructions, then the next time we contacted our tent supplier, we mentioned that there wasn't any instructions, and they gave us a dvd on how to erect our tent!! We found this rather funny, as not many people take dvd players on holiday with them!! I know what your all thinking.....silly woman!!,,,you have to watch the dvd so you have an idea on how to erect the tent. Whilst watching the dvd, make notes!! I know!! I just thought this was a bit of a funny way to supply tent instructions!! Anyway, all in all, we got sorted, took the tent on holiday for 2 weeks to Devon, and found that many faults with it....we had to take it back!! ha ha. We've gone all out now and bought an outwell wolf lake 7, which was hilarious to put up the first time, as my hubby and i both had different instructions on how to put it up! We had a little tiff, you could say!, and yes, you've guessed it, i was right ( as always!) and the tent was put up in no time!!

I'm sure you'll have as much fun as we did. In the end, i think everyone always finds that their way to put up their tent, is always best for them. It is for me!!

Have fun with your erection of your tent!!
