Has anyone got good tips for keeping stored clothes damp-free while camping.  I'm coming back to camping after a long break and remember despite zipping up clothes in my normal holdall-type bags at night, the dreaded damp still got to them by morning.  Should I store my clothes bags off the floor at night or use a more waterproof type of bag or a more breathable one.  Any ideas?

I use a  robust holdall made of thick nylon canvas, placed on the groundsheet. Even during the torrential rains w got this summer the clothes didn't get damp. You're not using ripstop nylon holdalls by any chance, or placing your bags on bare ground?

No, the bags where in the bedroom on top of two groundsheets.  Perhaps I was using the wrong sort of holdall.

We pack ours in those plastic storage boxes , they get a bit creased but at least they are dry .

              Waitrose, £2.99 for 10. They are tough and transparent.
