hiya all,the weather isint looking bad this weekend so i think we`er going to have our last outing before all the gear goes in to sleep for the winter.anyone else off ???
Climbing Snowdon on Friday & Saturday. Staying two nights at Cae Du , Bedgellert. Thurs./ Fri. Peace & Quiet. No groups, no music, no partying, no smelly campfires.
The mountain weather forecast looks ok for the weekend.
Well we're going................................... whatever.
Hi brotherboard.
Welcome to UKCS
You will enjoy the experience,it is one place I will never forget as I stood on the top rocks a sea gull blessed me but I will also never forget the relief, removing our boots and soaking our feet in the river after the decent.
all the best

Have stayed at Cae Du before, and think it's a great site (if you want peace & quiet that is. I realise some like to be a bit more lively) Hoping for some views from the mountain as well this time. Didn't manage it last time out. Attrocious weather. Wish I'd done this camping / walking lark when I was younger.
Yes one last chance saloon in either Lee Valley or a little place in Cambridge - will literally take a rain check tomorrow. Oh and some whisky for me Irish coffee...Enjoy the fresh air wherever you may be going. And for Rexgrant, very pleased you have resolved your problem and found a site.
