I have read this thread with interest and I sympathise and empathise with many of the people on here but what gets up my goat is the pricing at many sites for the forthcoming half term.
The last week in October this year is AFTER the clocks go back and my favourite site in the whole world has decided that this week counts as High Season!! Twenty five odd quid a night for no hook up in a windy field. You can imagine my thoughts on that for a game of soldiers and they can guarantee themselves that next summer and spring I will be voting with my feet and going elsewhere.
We spent 25 nights in 8 different trips this year and I am sure that somebody else will welcome our business.
