Went on our first camping trip at the weekend and would just like to say how invaluable this site has been for making it a great trip. We have yet to invest in EHU however through lots of tips gained on bedding & sleeping we managed to stay nice and cosy even though the night was soooo cold. Think the wine may have also helped!

We had an Outwell Utah 6 which we bought for £199 and was well worth the money, it was HUGE. We also bought the carpet which made it nice & cosy, my daughter is now badgering me for the kids room.

Tent all packed away till next spring so now compiling my list for santa for lots more wonderful camping stuff.

im also doing a santa list with lots of camping stuff but my family arent into camping anymore  (mum dad sisters etc) so they dont think buying me camping stuff is very exciting, but i wouild rather have an outwell lantern in my stocking than a bottle of bubble bath lol

Glad you enjoyed your first weekend away in the tent. And hope you get lots of lovely camping goodies for christmas.

We only got our tent a couple of weeks ago and have not been able to get away just yet. The weekend would have been ideal but OH had to work and we haven't any beds or bedding yet (would have begged and borrowed some if he'd been off). So for us it looks like it maybe next year for our "first time". Its all exciting isn't it!

Glad you had a good trip. Camping is addictive,be warned...lolll. Once you have the "basic" kit you start on the extra's!

We have managed 3 weeks this year camping, 2 in France,all 3 for the cost of a week in a caravan in Norfolk.

Use this imformation when you get carried away on the camping gear shopping next time and the hubby has the hump...loll
