The thought then occured to me, that I could save a lot of time by just using the tent as is. On removing it from the bag, I found its condition to be as new. Even though the seller said it had been well used for the last ten years, and they bought it second hand. The only faults with it are five eyelets pulled out of the mud flaps, and they are the plastic bit. Total repair time, about ten minutes.
So that's another tent to store then!
