OK so the bug bit rather late in the season when I rediscovered camping. Since finding this site I've been well & truly hooked - and have spent a fortune on all the necessary bits & pieces required. So why oh why did I feel such a strong desire to bid for this (and guess what, I won the auction).

Can't link to it so can't see it but i have come to the conclusion that we campers are as mad as each other. We too are new to it this year and have done the same as you, we have everything we think we will need plus loads more we will maybe never use but thats all part of the fun i think.

What a bargain.

I would have bought it, and I have more than a dozen already.

One spare pole section would cost at least double what you paid for the lot.

Thanks everyone - I'm perhaps not quite so mad then?

I reckon for £2.20 at worst it will be useful for spares - guys, poles etc.
