we liked our Berlingo as it had loads of space for camping. we had a roof box on ours too and OH just climbed on the roof to open it and threw things down at me for me to catch lol.
We had to get rid of it as we had a bad one and changed it for a Picasso, but OH would def have another one as he loved it. we had the old shape one that looked abit quirky but thats why we liked it.

There used to be questions over Renaults' reliability but not now they have the tie up with Nissan. From personal experience, the Renault build quality has been much better than the other makes I've had .
Thanks for the extra reassurance Andy
Went down to Trowbridge to look at one today, but it hadn't been loved by it's one owner Going to have a look at another one tomorrow.
Just thought I'd post an update for all the lovely people who gave me their opinion. I've bought a Kangoo I just can't believe the amount of space in it. I love the top boxes, the little drawer under the passenger seat and four big door pockets, and so much space when I fold the seats right up - perfect for camping.
My only problem is that I want to go camping in it NOW to try it out, but hubby says I have to wait till spring as it's too cold for him in November
As you will have to wait for the camping, in the meanwhile the kangoo makes a good car for day trips. So a suitcase stove in the back the rear door will keep the rain off. Also good place to sit and change out of your wellies
Nowt like a a walk on a crisp winter day and getting back to the car for a warm snack and a hot brew.
Glad you've got your new Kangoo , Jean, and are feeling the love! What colour and model is it?
And I know what you mean about the frustrations of November. Looking out the window now its a lovely morning, so I have to remind myself that lashing rain and storm force winds are predicted for later on.
------------- Tackling life the Western District way
It's a 1.6 Expression Auto, and it's a dark green. I would've liked the light, sort of marine green, but the condition of this car ruled over the colour. She's only got just over 10,000 miles on the clock and is in immaculate condition. Feels a bit strange to drive at the moment - I feel a bit 'up in the air' after driving two very low Pontiac Firebirds for the last nine years, but I'm sure I'll get used to it
I have a Kangoo 1.5 DCI version. Fantastic car. I have three dogs and aside from the camping we go all over the country to dog shows.
I have done 48k miles in 2 years in my Kangoo and not one single breakdown or failure - Its serviced regularly and I look after it. I also get aroud 54MPG !!
Great car.
I just want to swap it at the end of the year for the New Kangoo, but Renault can't give me a date for its release ???
Certainly would'nt be without my Berlingo, the new one is bigger but they are still making the old one as well, so theres plenty of choice. Also the new Citroen Nemo van will be available in a 'Kombi' version soon with back seats & windows.
There will also be Peugeot & Fiat versions of this.
------------- Sell my camper? I'd rather eat school semolina!
